CONTEXT AND BRIEF

Nestled on the heights of the small Varois village of Tourtour at an altitude of over 600 metres, the Bastide de Tourtour**** enjoys a breathtaking panorama that stretches over 3 different departments. Surrounded by 4 hectares of pine forest, the bastide is a unique place.

The website was getting old, so the marketing team asked 3 agencies to audit its performance and social networks in order to boost its digital activity.

In order to analyse the website, 3 main axes are determined:

TECHNICAL and VISUAL ANALYSIS: The structure of the pages and the site are analysed to assess the development of the platform as well as the user experience. Page loading speed, title tags, mobile version, animations, photo optimisations, an in-depth analysis.

WEBSITE TRAFFIC:
Traffic is increasing, with more than 70,000 visitors per year, 60% of whom are on mobile phones, but there is a problem with tracking some of the users, whose channel of origin cannot be determined. Also, a very high bounce rate due to a site that is no longer up to date.

SEO ANALYSIS:
While the site remains well positioned, there are over 100 Google searches where the site has disappeared in the last two years, including 3 where the site appeared in the first 3 results and 6 more in the top 10.

TECHNICAL & VISUAL ANALYSIS:
The audit highlighted the slowness of the loading of certain pages which could be improved, particularly on mobile. The structure of the site could also be optimised for the customer journey to increase the number of bookings.

SOCIAL NETWORKS:
Some very dynamic accounts promote the establishment, we were able to give them ideas for improving their social media management, on the editorial calendar, the content of posts, advertising and sponsorship.
