The flagship luxury hotel in Val Thorens, the Pashmina***** offers an upscale experience at the foot of the slopes.

The hotel offers a variety of accommodation, from classic rooms to duplex flats and cosy igloos. With its Occitanie spa, the Pashmina is an invitation to discover the mountain in a different way.

Since 2019, Eliophot and the Pashmina have been running campaigns each winter to maximise direct booking and thus increase the hotel's margins.

SOLUTIONS

To bring the customer to the direct booking and to develop his loyalty, 3 main tools are used:

WEBSITE: A tailor-made site, which highlights the various services and products offered by the hotel. Unlike a generic page on a retailer, the immersion is complete for the visitor, and the proposition much more attractive, increasing conversions.

SEA: By targeting the keywords associated with the name of the establishment, the site is protected from aggressive advertising by players such as Booking.com or Hotels.com, who try to cannibalise the establishments to impose their commission.

META SEARCH: With a very high average shopping basket, it is interesting to use all possible channels to push customers to book with the hotelier. Every booking counts: a single conversion can make a whole season of advertising profitable.

OUTCOMES

Every year, Pashmina's marketing campaigns break records:

WEBSITE: the platform recorded 42,000 visitors over the 2021-2022 winter season, with an average basket of more than €3,000 per booking and €1M in direct recorded turnover, which represents €170,000 in recorded profits compared to OTAs.

SEA: Nearly €110,000 in revenue generated, with a ROI exceeding x60 over the season. Our best performing keyword this season: "pashmina val thorens", with 64 179€ generated for 376€ spent on this query alone. This represents a ROI of x170!

META SEARCH: As with the previous two channels, Meta Search recorded excellent results. 53,731 of sales recorded over the season for 23 bookings, which cost €2,211, spread over 7 different countries.
