Background & brief

Giving a new name to an ambition

Initially known as FAAR, this architectural firm founded by three partners wanted to create an entity more clearly positioned in the hospitality sector. Hotels, villas and luxury second homes are now their core target.

The challenge was to design a brand capable of reflecting this evolution: a statutory, memorable and evocative name, befitting a very high-end market.

This new identity must both affirm their architectural expertise and establish a legitimate brand image with hospitality players.

Architecture doesn’t just build spaces: it tells the story of places, uses and life stories. In the world of luxury hospitality, every project becomes a story to be lived in.

Naming considerations led to the creation of Maison Boréci, a gentle, memorable and meaningful name.

The prefix “Bo”, meaning “to live” in Norwegian, immediately places the brand in a sensitive relationship with habitat. Boréci thus evokes a narrative architecture: designing places as stories to be lived, where space becomes the medium for an experience.

To accompany this name, the baseline Homespitality Architecture clearly expresses the brand’s positioning. It establishes a direct link between residential architecture and the world of hospitality, while establishing a premium, international territory.

Our studio approach

An identity conceived as architecture

The creation of the brand was accompanied by a comprehensive visual identity project. The logo adopts a straight, structured stick typeface, conveying the rigor and precision inherent to the architectural profession. A horizontal line separates the name from the baseline, providing a graphic structure that evokes the lines and foundations of an architectural project.

The visual territory is based on a minimalist, elegant palette. Anthracite gray establishes the brand’s statutory dimension, while olive green adds a contemporary, timeless touch. Together, these codes build a sober, premium and sustainable identity.

A site designed as an architectural gallery

In keeping with this identity, we have designed a bespoke site that gives pride of place to visuals. Architectural achievements are presented as true masterpieces.

Designed by our webdesign agency, the site favors an immersive experience, where visual content structures navigation. Appearance effects are kept simple and contemporary, to give full rein to the architecture and digitally translate the brand’s minimalist elegance.
